Halloween is nearly upon us here in London. And with it comes scares, pumpkins and toffee apples galore. If you're looking for something to get you in the spirit you'll find plenty to do in London. Here's our list of just a few of the great activities you can take part in for Halloween in the city.

Newburgh Quarter of Curiosity Workshops These workshops, taking place from 17-31 October in the exciting Carnaby area of the city, are designed to get you in the mood for All Hallows' Eve. From potion making classes and headdress making, to pumpkin planter session and a Halloween Fright Night, there's plenty for everyone to get involved in. Insider London Death & Debauchery Walking Tour If you want to learn more about the dark side of London, take part in our Death & Debauchery Tour of the city. For two hours you'll learn about gruesome murders, famous executions and ghostly happenings that have taken place around London. Something to get you in the mood for Halloween.

Dark Arts at Warner Bros Studio: The Making of Harry Potter Potterheads rejoice, even the Warner Bros Studio Tour are celebrating Halloween. In the lead up to Halloween you'll be able to explore the darker side to the wizard franchise. Battle Death Eaters, witness 100 floating pumpkins from the spectacular Great Hall and even have a butter beer or two.

Museums at Night Ever wondered what your favourite museum is like at night. Well at the autumn edition of Museums at Night you can find out what happens after dark. The likes of the Charles Dickens Museum, Bethlem Museum of the Mind and the National Gallery are just some of the museums taking part. Don't forget to look online and book tickets, these events are sure to be popular.
