Insider London is a young, innovative company that delivers alternative walking tours and business visits. As our business is growing so rapidly, we are looking for designers to work for us on an ad hoc basis. We need a graphic designer to produce new printed items, such as badges, vouchers, Powerpoint templates, tickets and bags; and a web developer who can lay out and code new sections of our site, such as a new ticketing system and a paid, password-protected download area.

In terms of visuals, we’ll ask you to follow the general aesthetic that the site and logo already follow, although there is also scope for you to execute creative and effective ideas.

You’ll join us on a self employed basis, responsible for paying your own tax and National Insurance. We expect that we will provide you with 6-10 hours of work a month.

Essential attributes for both roles – you MUST:

• Be studying or working as a freelance graphic designer and/or web developer
• Be able to follow clear instructions, quickly acting on them to produce attractive, effective layouts, designs and systems
• Have at least one weekday a month available to spend working for us
• Have your own laptop and all the software you might need for the role
• Live in London (and, if applicable, have a Visa that allows you to be self-employed)

Graphic Design – essential attributes – you MUST:

• Be competent and confident sending things to print – you will be responsible for any reprinting costs

Web Development – essential attributes – you MUST:

• Have a good understanding of WordPress, including how to install and test widgets and how to create password-protected areas
